Chapter 64: AT-TAGHABUN (MUTUAL DISILLUSION) - Translation
 
   

no affliction falls except by the permission of allah. for those who believe in allah, allah will guide his heart. allah has knowledge of all things. (11)

 

مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿11﴾

obey allah and obey the messenger. but, if you turn away, our messenger's duty is only to deliver the clear message. (12)

 

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ ﴿12﴾

allah, there is no god except he. in allah let the believers put their trust. (13)

 

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿13﴾

believers, some of your wives and children are enemies; so beware of them. but if you pardon, overlook and forgive them, then allah is the forgiving, the most merciful. (14)

 

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ وَإِن تَعْفُوا وَتَصْفَحُوا وَتَغْفِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿14﴾

your wealth and children are but a trial, and with allah is a mighty wage. (15)

 

إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿15﴾

therefore fear allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. and whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. (16)

 

فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴿16﴾

if you lend a good loan to allah he will multiply it for you and will forgive you. allah is the thankful, the clement. (17)

 

إِن تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ ﴿17﴾

he is the knower of the unseen and the visible, the almighty, the wise. (18)

 

عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ﴿18﴾
