Chapter 43: AZ-ZUKHRUF (ORNAMENTS OF GOLD) - Translation

|
| | | In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | hameem. (1) | | حم ﴿1﴾ | by the clear book (2) | | وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ ﴿2﴾ | we have made it an arabic koran in order that you understand. (3) | | إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ﴿3﴾ | it is in the origin of the book with us, sublime and wise. (4) | | وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ ﴿4﴾ | shall we turn away the remembrance from you because you are a sinful nation? (5) | | أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ ﴿5﴾ | how many a prophet did we send to the ancients, (6) | | وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿6﴾ | no prophet came to them except that they mocked him, (7) | | وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون ﴿7﴾ | so we destroyed those who were mightier in courage than they. and the example of the ancients has passed away. (8) | | فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَى مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿8﴾ | yet, if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will answer: 'the almighty, the knower created them. ' (9) | | وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ ﴿9﴾ | (it is) he who made the earth to be a cradle for you and made in it ways for you, in order that you are guided. (10) | | الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴿10﴾ |
